In this webinar, we hear from Andrew Gordon and Jo EverÂshed about how you can collect high-quality data from high quality, engaged participants.
Many researchers worry about:
* Finding engaged parÂticÂiÂpants
* That parÂticÂiÂpants aren’t in a conÂtrolled enviÂronÂment
* Whether parÂticÂiÂpants are paying attention
In other words, getting high-quality data out the other end of their study.
If you’ve had any of these worries, join Andrew Gordon from ProÂlifÂic and Jo EverÂshed from Gorilla to learn how to:
1) Recruit high-quality parÂticÂiÂpants
2) Create a high-quality parÂticÂiÂpant expeÂriÂence
TogethÂer, these two eleÂments will deliver you high-quality data.
Andrew Gordon
Research ConÂsulÂtant, Prolific
Andrew Gordon, PhD, is ProÂlific’s Research ConÂsulÂtant. Dr Gordon comÂpletÂed a BSc in PsyÂcholÂoÂgy at RoeÂhampÂton UniÂverÂsiÂty, folÂlowed by an MSc in NeuÂropsyÂcholÂoÂgy at the UniÂverÂsiÂty of Bristol, and a PhD in CogÂniÂtive NeuÂroÂscience also at the UniÂverÂsiÂty of Bristol examÂinÂing the neural underÂpinÂning of reliance on misÂinÂforÂmaÂtion. Before working for ProÂlifÂic he spent two years as a PostÂdocÂtorÂal Scholar at the UniÂverÂsiÂty of CalÂiÂforÂnia, Davis, working on creÂatÂing new behavÂiourÂal and funcÂtionÂal imaging parÂaÂdigms for assessÂing cogÂniÂtive control in chilÂdren with ASD. At ProÂlifÂic he works directÂly with researchers to make sure that they get the most out of ProÂlifÂic and supÂports them at each stage of the research process.
In this webinar, he shares how ProÂlifÂic ensures that their entire pool of parÂticÂiÂpants is high-quality, trustÂworÂthy, and engaged.
Jo EverÂshed
CEO & Co-founder, Gorilla Experiment Builder
Jo EverÂshed holds a BSc in PsyÂcholÂoÂgy from UCL and a BSc in ComÂbined Studies (EcoÂnomÂics and BusiÂness) from Oxford Brookes and was an InnoÂvate UK Women in InnoÂvaÂtion Award Winner.
Her mission is to provide behavÂiourÂal sciÂenÂtists with the tools needed to improve the scale and impact of the eviÂdence-based interÂvenÂtions that benefit society.
In this webinar, she disÂcussÂes how you can create a study that will make parÂticÂiÂpants feel engaged, motiÂvatÂed, and interÂestÂed in your research.
